The initial development of a physical object that serves to illustrate the typical qualities and demonstrate the characteristics that will form the basis for other objects to be formed in its likeness or image is called a prototype.

Prototype Grants include:

Research and Development Tax Rebate

By complying with the requirements the company acquires the ability to claim R&D associated costs at either 125% or 175% on their tax return.  This has the benefit of reducing the amount of company tax that would otherwise be payable.

Commercialisation Australia

Commercialisation Australia replaced the previous Commercial Ready and COMET programs and is designed to increase the commercialisation of innovative products, processes and services, by providing individuals, early-stage growth firms, and
spin-off companies with a tailored package of support to improve their potential for successful commercialisation.
