Export Grants
What are exports?
The provision of products or services for reward to non-residents, whether in Australia or overseas, are classed as exports. Basically any time you receive payment where the source of funds was originally from outside Australia you are exporting, and you may be eligible for Governmet Grants for Exporting.

Export Market Development Grants (EMDG)
Reimbursement of up to $150k based on 50% of your export marketing costs, provided you are the principle in the transaction and promoting Australian products or services. First time claims can include eligible expenses for the last 2 financial years.

The Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) aims to generate jobs, exports and investment for Australia by drawing international attention to innovative Australian technologies with commercial potential and significance for world markets. Funding of up to $20k is available to companies for export related activities.

Endeavour Australia Postgraduate and Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
The Endeavour Awards is the Australian Government’s internationally competitive, merit-based scholarship program enabling citizens of the Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Europe and the Americas to undertake study, research or professional development in Australia. Awards are also available for Australians to do the same abroad.
Endeavour Australia-Europe Postgraduate Student Awards
These awards are for students wishing to undertake a higher degree at an Australian institution or to carry out research in Australia that counts towards a degree program at a home country institution. The value of the award is up to A$50,000 and funds the first year or semester of a program that may last from a semester to three years.
Export Advisers Network
Export Advisers are available to give hands-on advice to potential and existing exporters in regional NSW. They also encourage and assist companies take full advantage of international market opportunities.
Exporters Network
The NSW Exporters Network provides a platform for information sharing between the Department and NSW companies, and between these companies. The Network is for NSW companies that are thinking of exporting, export ready or exporting already.
Human Frontier Science Program
The Human Frontier Science Program (HFSP) supports international and interdisciplinary collaborations in basic research, focusing on complex mechanisms of living organisms.
Independent Market Visits
The Independent Market Visit Program provides financial assistance to export-ready companies by offsetting some of the costs of visiting a new overseas market to expand sales.
Industry Cooperative Innovation Program (ICIP)
The ICIP is a $25 million program aimed at encouraging business-to-business cooperation on innovation projects that enhance productivity, growth and the international competitiveness of Australian industries.
International sporting events program
This program is designed to assist in attracting and supporting new international sporting events in NSW in an effort to provide high level competition opportunities for NSW athletes, coaches and officials.
Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund
The Australian Government provided funding through the Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund (LETDF) to help Australian firms commercialise world-leading low emissions technologies.
New Market Expansion Program for Regional Enterprises
The NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) provides a range of special services and programs to assist the regions of NSW meet the challenges that confront them.
